First of, I'd like to say that I enjoy using Photoshop. I became quite good at using it and as such I have no problems photoshoping my pictures. However, the one thing I don't like about the whole process is how long it takes. I'd much rather be outside taking pictures or do something with my wife than spend a lot of time on Photoshop. The idea is simple, what if one could do a large part of the photo manipulation BEFORE Photoshop thus saving me/you a tremendous amount of time. Bingo! I'd have to use filters. Since I found out that my original pinhole was too big, I have been going around with aluminium foil (pierced with a small hole) covering my body cap. Not the best. And certainly not the best since in bright sunlight, the light gets reflected off of the alumin(i)um and just basically produces reflections with little to see in terms of actual picture. Another problem with aluminium foil is that it is malleable and the hole changed shape over time. Not terribly important but again maybe it is, i just don't know it yet. As mentionned in my previous journal entry (see here: http://fchesneau.deviantart.com/journal/25266146/), I am experimenting with pinhole photography. One of the main problems is how to get sharp-ish images. The problem is as follows: the largeer the spot the more light butalso the less sharp the picture. Conversely the smaller the pinhole the  sharper the lines but that also means less light will get in. A bigger hole might be fine for buildings and landscapes (see my "pinhole street" picture) but not quite good enough for people (see my "waiting to cross the street" picture).
